I wrote this song “A sharp reminder” as a narrative, imagine the opening voice over in a gritty film noir movie. A film where we are all moving forward together, yet each of our worlds can feel so isolated to the point where we are unsure of ourselves and our place in the universe.
Over time our inner wounds need to be healed or recognized, the ghosts of our past, the things that have hurt us or vice versa..ultimately these things, these scars rise to the surface and we then must confront, heal, recognize and attempt to understand them, our scars don’t make us ugly, they make us who we are, they tell our story…and this is a story, a song for the scarred and scared.
